BASARAB NICOLESCU AND TRANSDISCIPLINARY EON

Romanian by paternal origin, Greek by maternal grandfather and French by adoption, short by stature, reminiscent of Napoleon, Eminescu or Heidegger, energetic, ultraintelligent, having elegant gestures and aristocratic spirit, familiar with the great culture and science to literature to quantum physics and from mathematics to philosophy or theology, crony with the distinguished circle of  the Romanian-born French intellectuals: Ştefan Lupasco, Mircea Eliade, Eugene Ionesco, Emil Cioran, Virgil Ierunca or Monica Lovinescu, Basarab Nicolescu, in whose essence the noetic and biological genes of three civilizations melted, is, himself, a spectacular inter-, multi-and transdisciplinary  becoming.
